Dear Students,
The Labor Economics and Industrial Relations Department Library was established in 2014 with the help of the department's own resources and sponsors, with the initiatives of our department head, Prof.Dr.M.Çağlar Özdemir. Originally more modest, the library has been developed and modernized over the years. Currently, it contains approximately 1500 books, 30 different periodicals and more than 20 catalogs.
The library includes textbooks related to the department, as well as different documents that will develop intellectual and artistic skills. Some of the books were donated from the private library of Oğuzhan DURA, the Chief Inspector of the General Directorate of Foundations, who lost his life in the terrorist explosion in Ankara Kızılay on 13 March 2016. Primarily Bahattin Şıkkibar, Orhan Yılgenci and Osman Çetin contributed to its physical structuring.
Every year, 3 or 4 students are employed in the library within the framework of the "7+1 Professional Practice" program. In this context, the social security premiums of the students employed for illness, work accident and occupational disease are covered by the university. Applications to work in the library Res.Asst. Dr. It can be done to Akın Özdemir.
The list of works in the department library is attached. You can borrow the works in the list from the department library.
Enjoy your work.
