OUR POLICIES

Our Education-Training Policy:

  • Adopting a competency-based innovative education model that will equip students with the competencies that a world citizen should have (such as being able to think critically and creatively, respecting human rights, having ethical principles and a sense of responsibility) and lifelong learning skills, as well as professional skills.
  • To carry out practices to encourage successful students by constructing a student-oriented education model.
  • To maintain the relationship between education-training programs and research-development activities by strengthening them in the direction of applied training.
  • To carry out educational practices in order not to lose the heritage from our history in science and art studies.
  • To continuously improve education and training processes with the participation of stakeholders, by strengthening national and international cooperation.

Our Research & Development Policy:

  • To consider regional, national and international needs and priorities in research and development studies.
  • To ensure the sustainability of the research process through research centers with leading research infrastructures in their fields as a requirement of universal science and technology.
  • To increase participation in research by strengthening cooperation with external stakeholders (international, national, public institutions, etc.) in research and development studies.
  • To ensure the use of resources and infrastructure in line with corporate goals by managing R&D studies in an integrated manner at the institutional level.

OUR STRATEGIES

S.1 - To graduate undergraduate and graduate students with the necessary competencies, who can transform the knowledge they have acquired through student-centered education programs that support lifelong learning, and develop successful students and educators in a way that will enable students to acquire 21st century skills, and to ensure that internationalization becomes widespread.

S.2 - To develop graduate education programs in a way that supports research and development by considering the needs and potentials of the country, and to encourage successful students to graduate education.

S.3 - To ensure that the knowledge and research potential of the university and the department are transformed into outputs aimed at solving the problems of the industry and society, and socio-economic and social benefits with high added value, through research and development activities integrated with national and international stakeholders and industry.

S.4 - To realize sensitive practices in the fields of education, health, social and environmental aspects, taking into account the principles of improving education, sanitary conditions, renewable energy, human-oriented social development, reducing inequalities, human development, responsible consumption and production, and protecting the environment.

S.5 - To ensure accountability, economic sustainability and service quality in public administration by strengthening the relations of the university and the department with internal and external stakeholders.
